Music at the Cumberland Farmers Market

 

Our market runs every Saturday from June to mid-October, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

 

Musicians are asked to be on site and performing during their registered market date within these hours. We understand that performers need breaks and may need to adjust their schedule, so continuous performance for the full market is not expected.

 

We typically host one musician per week and aim to avoid the complexity of switching locations, equipment, or busking setups during the market.

 

To support a welcoming atmosphere, we provide a Bluetooth speaker for music during set-up, tear-down, and performer breaks. Our busking booth includes a tent, weights, table, chairs, electricity if needed, and general support such as beverages and snacks.

 

At this time, we do not have a budget to pay musicians or entertainers. However, we do not track or monitor busking revenue, and we actively encourage our vendors and customers to support our musicians.

 

We understand that a busking-only arrangement may not suit everyone, and we appreciate your understanding as our market continues to grow.
